Stabbing victim ‘knew his suspected killers’

Probe into stabbing murder

Officers investigating a fatal stabbing in Boston have revealed that the victim knew his suspected attackers.

As previously reported, several police cars and ambulances were called to Wormgate in Boston at 12:25pm on Thursday, January 10.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after reports of a man suffering stab wounds.

Detective chief inspector Karl Whiffen has now said: “We would like to appeal again for any witness who were in the Wormgate area of Boston.

“Anyone in the area around the time of the incident should contact us, as you information could be vital to our investigation.

“There are extra patrols in town today, to offer reassurance to residents.”

Two mean aged 32 and 33 were arrested on January 10 on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
