Charity box stolen from Lincoln shop

CCTV images have been issued by police investigating the theft of a charity box in Lincoln.

The Poppy Appeal charity box, containing an unknown amount of money, was taken from Cost Cutter, The pavilions Student Village, Ruston Way in Lincoln on February 5.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in the images may be able to help us with our investigation.

The charity box and its contents were taken from the counter

“The man was wearing jeans, a grey and black jacket and was carrying a yellow carrier bag.”

Anyone who knows who the man in the pictures is or who has any information should call 101.
