Lincoln Subway closed suddenly

Some just weren’t bready for the news

A branch of Subway in Lincoln has closed permanently.

Subway on Monks Road near Lincoln College closed its doors for the final time at 3pm on Friday, February 15.

A poster in the window says: “We’d like to think each and every customer. It’s been our privilege serving you.

“Thanks for your patronage – Tom & the Team.”

College students and other people based nearby will now have to go elsewhere in the city for their Subway fix.

The nearest Subway outlets in Lincoln are located on Guildhall Street, High Street and Wragby Road.
