Police have released an image of a man who they believe witnessed criminal damage to a First World War memorial.
The memorial in Wyndham Park, Grantham was damaged on December 15.
The incident happened at around 5am in the morning.
Lincolnshire Police said another person climbed onto the memorial and jumped up and down on it, breaking off one of the laurel branches of the memorial.
They added in a statement: “The man pictured is strictly believed to be a witness to this incident – he did not damage the memorial.
“Anyone who recognises the man pictured should call 101 quoting 18000610715 of 12 December 2018. To report anonymously, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
