Look inside the new Lincoln Luminarium

It’s back for just four days

An out of this world attraction that takes visitors through a maze of light and sound has landed in Lincoln.

Following on from the success of last year’s event, the Luminarium: Qodlumin promises to be a new experience.

This year there are cavernous domes, tunnels and pods which cover half the size of a football pitch outside the Isaac Newton Building at the University of Lincoln.

It will be open from Wednesday, April 10 until Sunday, April 14. It will be open from 12pm to 6pm Wednesday and Thursday and 12pm until 7pm on Friday, with the first pre-booked session at 12:30pm each day.

On Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 the Luminarium opens at 10am until 6pm.

Time in the Luminarium is limited to around 20 minutes at busy times, but longer if there isn’t a queue.

Tickets are priced at £5. Child tickets cost £3.50 although babies in arms are free and do not require a ticket to enter.

Tickets can be bought on the day (except queues at busy times). It is recommended to pre-book a timed entry in advance – a limited number of tickets are available.

The Luminarium: Qodlumin is suitable for all but under-18s should be accompanied by an adult (maximum of four children per adult).

Wheelchair users and anyone with mobility issues can also access the attraction.
