Three injured in A46 Welton crash

The injuries are not thought to be life-threatening

Three people were injured in a crash at the A46 Welton junction overnight.

Police were called to the collision involving a black Smart car and a black Volkswagen transporter at 6.11pm on Wednesday, April 10 at the junction with Lincoln Road.

The driver and two passengers in the Smart car were injured. Injuries are not though to be life-threatening.

Multiple ambulances and a fire engine were spotted at the scene. Police were diverting traffic around the closed road.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The driver and passengers in the Smart car were taken to hospital with injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening nor life-altering.

“The road was closed for some time following the RTC, and re-opened at around 10pm.”
