Drug dealer with 28 previous convictions jailed

He had 28 previous convictions for a total of 49 offences

A drug dealer caught with a stash of Mamba has been jailed at Lincoln Crown Court.

Paul White was detained at Lincoln train station by police for a drugs search.

Leanne Summers, prosecuting, said that White initially admitted to having a cannabis spliff on him. He then went on to confess to having Mamba on him.

A total of 439 grammes of Mamba was found on White and during a search subsequently carried out at his home. White was later interviewed and claimed the drugs were for his own use.

The court was told that he had 28 previous convictions for a total of 49 offences.

White, 30, of Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, admitted a charge of possession of drugs with intent to supply following his arrest on March 23, 2019. He was jailed for 11 months.

David Eager, in mitigation, said that White had a past history of drug use but managed to come off them only to have a relapse.

“He lost his job, he lost his home and he lost his relationship.

“He found himself unemployed and living on the streets. The only was he could possibly fund his addiction was by selling drugs.”
