Military tanks, a Steampunk-themed adventure and a beer and sausage festival are among the events to keep people entertained across Lincolnshire over the Bank Holiday.
If anyone is stuck for things to do in the county, Lincolnshire Reporter has compiled a list of some of the event highlights not to be missed.

Experience a military weekend including an M36 Jackson tank destroyer, Sherman tank, Chaffee and more, as well as Lancaster and Mosquito taxy runs and over 609 military vehicles.

A beer and sausage festival including tours of the brewery with afternoon and evening entertainment from the Alford Morris Dangers and singer/songwriter Blane.

A new three-day rock festival is heading to the Lincolnshire Showground with The Wildhearts, Hardcore Superstar and The Virginmarys among the bands getting ready to perform.
When: May 24-26 Where: Lincolnshire Showground Cost: Prices vary depending on the day and type of ticket. Adult prices start from £33 for a Friday ticket.
A special three-day Steam Punk-themed event with steam trains running throughout each day. There will also be a lot of attractions in the events field including performers such as ‘Arabian Delights’ dancers and a special appearance by Pete the Steampunk Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Spend the day learning how archery helped put food on the medieval table. The day includes meeting the Wolfshead Bowmen and hearing about hunting techniques, as well as testing your skills with a longbow.

The event includes astronauts, rockets, planets and even a friendly alien. There will also be a galactic VR experience inside the prison.

Medieval fun this bank holiday as Lincoln Castle’s Knight School is ready to open to train up junior visitors. Discover the skills of the medieval warrior in the have-a-go siege artillery area. There is also a Conqueror’s Castle Quest.

The Medieval Siege Artillery and The Conqueror’s Castle Quest are only available on the Bank Holiday weekend.
Comedian Rob Rouse is among the line-up of talent ready to make people laugh at the Sleaford Comedy night.

Superhero Week at Rand Farm Park

From tigers to tropical butterflies, white wolves to monkeys and crocodiles to birds there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
Lincolnshire’s newest attraction, penguin rocks, will be open to the public from Saturday, May 25. The park welcome the arrival of 13 Humboldt penguins on Thursday, May 23 as part of a European endangered species breeding programme.

Have a fun day out at Northcote Heavy Horse Centre.
Annual medieval tournament featuring birds of prey, riding skills and seeing the Knights of Northcote take up lances and swords. There will also be mounted falconry, equestrian vaulting, horse archery and dog displays.

Create some wild art using leaves, sticks, pine cones or anything natural.
