The Lincoln city centre McDonald’s will relocate into the current HMV store on the High Street.
The fast food chain previously confirmed it was looking to move and was considering a number of locations as progress on the multi million pound Cornhill Quarter redevelopment continued.
HMV will be relocating into The Cornhill Quarter into the unit next to WHSmith.
Laurence Price, Head of Retail at HMV said: “We’re extremely happy to be moving our Lincoln store into new premises in the Cornhill Quarter this coming January.
“All staff will be moving across to the new store and are looking forward to a refreshed unit which will give us the chance to update our offer and improve on our already expanded vinyl range.
“The Cornhill Quarter is a developing part of the city and we hope to be able to put our stamp on it.”
