Police dog cheers on England’s paw-some Lionesses

Good luck England!

A Lincolnshire Police dog barked his support for England’s football Lionesses ahead of their World Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

England will play current world champions USA at the Stade de Lyon in France at 8pm BST as the Lionesses look to go one better than they did in the 2015 tournament.

PD Kolt briefly paw-sed from his normal duties to share his views ahead of the match via the Lincs Dog Section Twitter account in a video, which has been viewed over 6,800 times.

“Is it coming home Kolt?”, asked his optimistic handler. The answer was undoubtably “wheef!”

England suffered semi-final heartbreak with a 2-1 defeat against Japan in the 2015 World Cup, but hopefully this time they can progress beyond the final four.

Should England progress they would face either Sweden or Netherlands in the final on July 7.
