Ermine death not suspicious, police say after post mortem

A post mortem examination has taken place

The death of a 26-year-old man whose body was found at a property in the Ermine area of Lincoln is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

As previously reported, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found at an address on Escombe View in Lincoln at around 8pm on Monday, August 26. He was confirmed dead at the house.

At the time police said the death was being treated as unexplained and the 24-year-old man was released under investigation.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said on Friday: “A post mortem examination has taken place and this death is not being treated as suspicious.

“This has now been passed to the coroner.”
