Lincoln Cathedral to host pride celebration service

Pride kicks off this weekend with a service at the cathedral

Lincoln Cathedral will host a special pride service on Saturday to “celebrate diversity and inclusivity” in the city.

The service will begin at 10am and the cathedral has said that everybody is welcome to attend.

It will coincide with Lincoln Pride which starts at 11am and will run until 7pm, and the organisers have promised it to be the “biggest to date.”

As previously reported, there will be no parade this year and pride will now be hosted at the Arboretum park off Monks Road instead of the Brayford.

The Scene nightclub will be open throughout the day of Pride with various different activities.

Although Lincoln Pride remains a free event, anyone who would like to make a contribution towards the annual costs can celebrate in style with VIP tickets.

Golden Circle Access costs £20 and this gets you the best view to the main stage and guarantees a spot in the first few rows of the audience.

VIP Experience + Golden Circle tickets are priced at £45 and includes access to the Golden Circle viewing area and treats such as a complementary drink token and access to the VIP bar.
