Police investigate after man bitten by Alsatian

The man later required stitches

A man in his 50s required stitches after allegedly being bitten by an Alsatian dog in Kelby, Grantham.

He was out jogging near Kelby Lodge at around 10.30am on Friday, July 26 when the attack happened. Police said the man, who later required stitches and medication, sustained a bite on his thigh.

A young boy then attended and took control of the dog.

Police issued an appeal on Thursday, September 5 as investigating officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident.
