Get ready for magical festive views across the city after an illuminated walk of Lincoln Castle’s medieval wall was announced as a brand-new addition for this year’s Christmas Market.
In the run up to the Christmas Emporium, and especially for the Christmas Market, the medieval wall walk will be illuminated between Thursday, December 5 and Sunday, December 8 (Thursday-Saturday from 4pm-9pm and Sunday from 4pm-6.30pm).
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults, £7 for concessions (senior citizens, students, disabilities, unemployed), £5.50 for children (aged 5-16) and family tickets for £21.50 (includes two adults and up to 3 children). Under fives can enter for free.
After a successful debut in 2018, Christmas stalls offering unique arts, crafts, gifts and locally sourced food and drink will return for the Christmas Emporium this winter.
The Christmas Emporium will run at Lincoln Castle on Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15, as well as between Wednesday, December 18 and Sunday, December 22.
The highlight of the Christmas Emporium, which runs from 5pm-9pm each evening, is a spectacular light show. This year’s light show will mix festive fairy story with local history and legend.
