Comedian Jason Manford heading to Lincoln in 2021

Tickets go on sale this week

Comedian Jason Manford will perform his new tour at the Engine Shed in Lincoln in 2021 – where he previously bought the entire audience a drink for being late!

Jason Manford’s ‘Like Me’ tour will be in Lincoln on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He will also perform at other Lincolnshire venues in Grimsby, Skegness, Grantham and Scunthorpe.

Tickets for the Lincoln gig are priced at £30 and will be on general sale at 10am on Friday, February 28. Subscribers to the Engine Shed and Red Herring Comedy mailing lists will be eligible to buy tickets during the pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday, February 26.

When Jason performed at the Engine Shed in March 2014, he realised he would be 40 minutes late so surprised fans by announcing a free drink for each of the over 800 people in the audience. He picked up the bar bill of over £3,500 as a gesture for keeping people waiting.

Although he will be hoping this trip to Lincoln won’t be as costly, Jason will no doubt still bring his fans yet more laughter.

He said: “After the fun we had on my last tour ‘Muddle Class’, I’m excited to get back on the road with my new stand up show, ‘Like Me’. In these trying times it’s always important to be able to get away for a couple of hours and exercise the old chuckle muscle! So I’m coming to a venue near you in 2021 so we can have a good laugh together. See you then.”
