Pedestrian injured in zebra crossing crash in Lincoln

Police are at the scene

A pedestrian has been injured in a crash at the zebra crossing on Ruskin Avenue in uphill Lincoln.

Two police cars were spotted at the scene turning people down Macaulay Drive from the roundabout.

One person at the scene told reporters one lane was closed and traffic heading towards Wragby Road being diverted down Macaulay Drive.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “At 3.04pm today we received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Ford Focus in Ruskin Avenue, Lincoln.

“The female pedestrian has been taken to hospital after receiving what we believe to be minor injuries.

“We do not have any age or any other details at the moment.”
