Extremely dangerous fireworks stolen near Gainsborough

The fireworks will detonate upon being lit

Several extremely dangerous fireworks were allegedly stolen from a village near Gainsborough.

A number of industrial fireworks were taken during the burglary, which happened on Common Lane in Heapham, Gainsborough sometime overnight from April 16 into April 17.

Lincolnshire Police said: “The fireworks are extremely dangerous as a large number do not have a delay fuse and will detonate upon being lit.

“Those that do have a delay fuse require a safety distance of 120 metres.”

Police are appealing for information regarding the burglary. If you, or someone you know, has possession of the fireworks, it should be reported to police on 101 quoting incident number 361 of April 17.
