Five arrested in Lincoln lockdown drugs raid

Four men and one woman have been arrested in a drugs raid off Carholme Road in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police officers conducted an intelligence-led raid at a house on Carr Street on Tuesday, March 31.

They arrested five people, one women aged 20, from Lincoln and four men, two aged 19, one aged 20, from Nottingham and one aged 36 years, from Lincoln.

The suspected offences included being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, and possession of Class A and Class C drugs.

“All five people have been released on bail while our investigation continues,” the force said in a statement.

“We are appealing for anyone with information that will help our inquiries to contact us.”

The incident comes after a raid in Grantham, during which three females were arrested.
