Spalding attackers target ‘immigrant’ in suspected hate assault

The offenders made references to the victim being an immigrant

Lincolnshire Police have launched an appeal about an assault that is being treated as a hate crime.

The assault occurred outside Castle Sports Complex, Albion Street in Spalding on Saturday, April 25 between 5:40 and 6:30pm.

Three offenders on push bikes assaulted the victim who received minor injuries.

Lincolnshire Police said the incident has been treated as a hate crime due to references made by the offenders to the victim about being an immigrant.
