Reckless drivers were caught by police travelling up to 95mph on the A46 Lincoln bypass.
Lincolnshire Police posted on social media in the early hours of Thursday, May 7 that three drivers had been stopped on the carriageway.
“Driving at 95mph on the A46 near Lincoln is irresponsible and the three drivers our officer stopped are facing a driving ban and up to £1,000 fine.
“We’re on patrol in marked and unmarked motorbikes and cars across the country,” they said.
During the country-wide lockdown, traffic has eased. But it’s given some motorists the idea to drive at dangerous speeds.
