Homes across Margaret Drive in Boston have been evacuated after a home-made explosive device was found in a man’s house.
Police arrested a 65-year-old man on Tuesday morning after a tip-off that led officers to find what they believed to be an improvised explosive device.
A police cordon was put in place around Margaret Drive, the street where the man in question lived, forcing 14 homes to be evacuated as a precaution.

The incident is not being treated as terrorism-related at this time.
Nearby schools Tower Road Academy is asking parents to collect their children via Tollfield Road to avoid the police cordon.
In a statement, Lincolnshire Police said: “We and the EOD are working hard so people can return to their homes as soon as possible.
“We’d like to thank these residents for being exceptionally understanding.”
