Developer wants to build 110 homes in Holbeach

“The overall development contributes towards the need for new housing”

A developer’s plans for a 110-home build in Holbeach have been revealed.

Gleeson Regeneration has applied to South Holland District Council to build the two, three and four-bed two-storey homes on land north of Northons Lane.

The properties will be a mixture of semi-detached and detached, some of which will include garages.

In documents before SHDC, the developer said the layout, which would include access from Cedar Drive and Oakwood Glade, would maintain the private amenity of neighbouring houses on the south and eastern boarders.

How the site could be laid out.

They said: “The proposal will enhance the housing provision within the local area, providing a range of homes for a range of potential residents, and is located within a commutable distance to several larger population centres.

“The overall development contributes towards the need for new housing as outlined by central government in line with estimates for population increases.”

Councillors will discuss the plans at a later date.
