The road will be closed Monday to Friday

A major road in the Nettleham village near Lincoln will be closed for resurfacing next week.

The surface of High Street and Mill Hill will be replaced between Monday, August 10 and Friday, August 14.

The road will be closed until work is complete, with local diversion routes in place.

Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “Road surfaces only last so long, and this one now needs resurfacing.

“Along with surface dressing and pavement repairs, resurfacing forms part of our annual scheme of works to maintain and improve our road network.

“Nettleham Junior School sits on Mill Hill so we’ve scheduled the work for the summer holidays to minimise the disruption, but I’d like to thank the residents of Nettleham for bearing with us whilst we carry this out.”
