Take a peek inside the fancy new cinema

Everyman cinema is opening in Lincoln on Friday, August 21, and The Lincolnite went for a sneak preview.

The city’s newest cinema opens in the Cornhill Quarter this weekend, with tickets available to pre-book now.

There will be four screens of different sizes, with screen one being the largest, showing the latest big releases.

Christopher Nolan’s new movie Tenet will be shown on the big screen from Wednesday, August 26, with classic films screened until then.

While social distancing is still necessary, any two seats booked will automatically leave out the seats either side, to ensure people remain a safe distance apart.

There is also a modern-looking bar to order cocktails, hot drinks or milkshakes from, as well as a kitchen making hot food, including pizza and burgers.
