Lincoln City’s ninth summer signing is former Scotland under 21 international Theo Archibald from Macclesfield Town.
The right midfield player joins on a permanent deal after impressing for Macclesfield in League Two.
He started his career at Celtic, rising through the youth setup before being signed by Brentford in the Championship.
After his contract expired at Brentford he joined Macclesfield, playing 33 times and scoring six goals for the Silkmen.
Theo joins the Imps after a lot of speculation over whether the deal would go ahead.
Theo said: “There’s been an extended wait with everything that’s going on in the world but I’m absolutely delighted to be here now.”
Lincoln boss Michael Appleton said he is looking forward to working with the Scot.
“Theo is going to give us balance in the wide areas, with him being left footed. He’s someone who is very direct and is always looking to go past people.”
