Police find teens but no gun after Lincoln ‘firearm’ incident

Two of three found, but no gun

Two of the three youths involved in a firearm incident in Lincoln have been identified by police.

On Monday, armed police and helicopters were called to the Tower Drive area of Lincoln after unconfirmed reports of three youths having a what appeared to be a gun.

Many police vehicles were scattered around the city, with patrols around Arboretum park and Monks Road.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that two of the youths in question have been identified, and they will be spoken to in due course.

Investigations are still ongoing, with no mention of the firearm or the third youth.

Police cars are in the area on Monks Road.
