Scunthorpe sign former Spurs and Leicester striker

He joins on a two-year deal

Scunthorpe United have signed former Tottenham and Leicester striker Ryan Loft on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at League Two side Carlisle, is the Iron’s eighth summer signing. During his time at Carlisle Loft scored six goals, including the winner in a 1-0 win at Scunthorpe.

The six foot four forward was born in Gravesend signed for Tottenham in 2013/14 and during his time at the Premier League club he enjoyed spells at Braintree Town, Stevenage and Exeter City.

He joined Leicester City in July 2018, but was released at the end of the 2019/20 season.
