By Local Democracy Reporter

Boston United have signed experienced winger Terry Hawkridge on an initial one year contract.

The 30-year-old is the Pilgrims’ seventh signing of the summer as the club prepare for the new campaign in the Vanarama National North.

Terry is familiar with Lincolnshire, having previously played for Gainsborough Trinity, Scunthorpe United and Lincoln City.

Hawkridge scored the goal that got Lincoln City promoted to League Two in 2017, and brings football league experience to Boston having played in League One and Two during his career.

Boston manager Craig Elliott said: “I am delighted to sign a player of Terry’s calibre.”

“He fits into how we want to play and I was pleasantly surprised that we managed to get this deal completed so quickly.

“Terry has great experience of challenging for promotions and I am really looking forward to working with him.”
