Street food festival returns to Lincoln High Street

Open all weekend

By Local Democracy Reporter

The International Street Food Festival has come back this year on Lincoln High Street.

Food stalls are scattered across Lincoln High Street, from Thursday, September 17 to Sunday, September 20.

The stalls will be open each day until later in the evening.

Multiple cuisines are available to suit everyone’s taste, including Greek, Spanish, Mexican, exotic street food and desserts.

At last year’s event, a continental bar was placed on the Cornhill, but due to the coronavirus pandemic and the demolition of the kiosk, this wasn’t possible for 2020.

The festival had originally been cancelled by the Lincoln Business Improvement Group as the nation went into COVID-19 lockdown.

The gradual easing of lockdown measures has allowed for the festival to go ahead in Lincoln city centre.
