Fight against power lines through North Lincolnshire’s ‘beautiful green space’

Pylons could be up to 50m high

Proposed electricity powerlines running through North Lincolnshire countryside have been dubbed a “jarring intrusion” by a councillor.

National Grid has been consulting with the public on possible routes for a new 400,000 volt powerline that will stretch 90km from Cottingham in East Yorkshire to High Marnham in Nottinghamshire.
