The timing of the repairs is raising eyebrows

A struggling Lincoln business owner has hit out again at local authorities following a fresh blow to the Glory Hole.

The City of Lincoln Council’s repairs to the historic Stokes coffee shop on High Street meant the building was surrounded by scaffolding, with six weeks of work expected to start on September 18. However, the latest news has dealt a fresh cut to Now Salon owner Roger Baldam-Lucas, whose business is already affected by an ongoing closure by Lincolnshire County Council.
