Her family have spoken out about the distressing experience

An 85-year-old woman’s family is outraged after she endured a harrowing 30-hour wait in a chair at Lincoln’s A&E, raising serious questions about the state of emergency care in Lincolnshire.

On the morning of Wednesday, October 25, a carer found Maureen on her bedroom floor in Saxilby. Upon phoning for an ambulance, the carer was informed about a ‘minimum of an eight hour wait’.
