Ofsted urges further improvements at Alford village primary school

St Helena’s Church of England Primary School in Willoughby, Alford, is making steady progress after a ‘Requires Improvement’ rating from Ofsted, but must take further action.

Ofsted carried out a full inspection in June last year and the overall effectiveness, quality of education, leadership and management and early years provision were all rated as ‘Requires Improvement’. The categories of behaviour and attitudes, and personal development were graded as ‘Good’.
