End of an era: Jamie Marcus prepares for curtain call on The Drill panto

Reflecting on 17 years of panto at The Drill, and the final bow before ventures new

Lincoln and Christmas pantomimes go hand in hand, engaging with the community to spread festive cheer each and every year, but for one of the faces of this local industry, it will be time for a curtain call after 17 years of productions and a lifetime of memories.

Jamie Marcus, 54, has put on pantomime productions at The Drill, formerly the Lincoln Drill Hall, since 2007, putting smiles on faces and getting tens of thousands of local people into the festive spirit each year, but 2023 will be the final year for this annual tradition.
