Lincoln Christmas Sack Project: Thousands of gifts for struggling families

Donating Christmas gifts to the local families that need them most

Christmas means so many things to so many different people, but at a church in Lincoln it is about lifting the financial burden for struggling families — and they do so by gathering and gifting over 10,000 presents for the community to open this festive season.

The Christmas Sack Project has taken place every year since 2007, organised by Bridge Church in Lincoln. It has grown from helping a handful of families in its opening year, to being in a position to offer between 15-20,000 Christmas gifts for children and families who are facing a difficult festive period in the current financial climate.
