The body found in River Witham in Lincoln on Sunday, February 9, was identified as missing man Ryan Morgan, Lincolnshire Police confirmed.
His body was recovered from the Spa Road area after a rower notified police at 11.20am.
A police underwater search unit was at the scene to recover the body.
The formal identification process has been completed.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed on Monday, February 10, the body was of missing man Ryan Morgan (28), of Doughty’s Court in Lincoln.
An inquest will be opened and adjourned once a post mortem has been carried out.
Ryan Morgan went missing on December 27, 2013, from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre at Lincoln County Hospital on Greetwell Road.
