A lifelong Lincoln City fan living in Australia, who set up a GoFundMe page with the aim of raising enough money to get him home to watch the Imps’ huge FA Cup tie against Arsenal, has reached his total.

Kieran Simpson, who moved to Melbourne a few years ago, has supported Lincoln City since the age of seven. He asked the public to help him raise $1,800 to get back to England to see the game on Saturday, March 11.

After a donation of $1,300 from STA Travel, Kieran will now be able to make his once in a lifetime trip to England to see the Imps play against Arsenal.

Any left over money will go to the Beyond Blue charity in Australia

Kieran managed to raise $550 through his Gofundme page, where he explained money would go towards flights, tickets for the game and somewhere to sleep.

Left over money donated to Kieran will now go towards the Beyond Blue charity in Australia.

Kieran said: “We made it thanks to a donation from STA travel who have chipped in the cost of the flights!

“All money will now go to Beyond Blue, a charity that helps with depression and anxiety in Australia.”
