Countdown to Lincoln Craft 2.0 opening

The original beer garden is coming back

The countdown is on as popular Lincoln bar Craft prepares to make a comeback on the High Street in just over two weeks.

As previously reported, owners are investing £250,000 in bringing the bar back to former glory and creating 25 jobs.

According to Craft’s website there are just 16 days to go until the grand opening.

A statement on the website says: “We feel that the city lost something when we closed two years ago and we are really really happy to have this opportunity to bring Craft back.

“Watch this space as we release more as time moves closer to us opening.”

As well as bringing back the original beer garden and recreating a new stage area for live music, the bar will also be introducing a new range of experimental cocktails, food and party packages for all occasions.

Craft bar and kitchen first opened on Lincoln High Street in 2013 when Dogma closed its doors.

Two years later it ceased trading and owners accepted an offer from Côte Restaurant Ltd.

Côte then invested in the region of £1 million to refurbish the site, but closed without notice in April 2018 after axing a number of its branches across the country.
