Sneak peek inside Lincoln Cathedral with Grand Tour

A special day for fans

You know by now that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have been filming at Lincoln Cathedral today.

The final episode of the third (and possibly final) series of Amazon’s Grand Tour will be a tribute to the classic Ford sedan.

Dozens of classic Fords have been gathered around the cathedral today, and the presenters have been seen getting out of different models and going inside Lincoln’s iconic building.

After hundreds of people with audience tickets queued to get in the cathedral for the secret filming part, we managed to get a sneak peek of what’s been happening inside.

The choir and the audience sang “Dear Ford & Father of mankind” as a tribute to the original mass producer of vehicles, which is set to close the last episode of series three, and possibly the last episode of the show ever.

Check out our story from earlier for more pictures of the presenter trio.

The filming continues Saturday from 10am at Lincolnshire Showground, where many classic Ford cars will gather for a final farewell ride from the showground to the cathedral between midday and 3pm.
