Follow a trail of hidden pumpkins through Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter and answer clues to win prizes for all the family. There are 29 pumpkins to find and 29 clues to answer.
Where: Doddington Hall, Lincoln. When: October 12 to October 31. Price: £14 for adults, £7 for children for the Dark Halloween Magic event and price varies depending on the pumpkin size
Enjoy a frightful half-term filled with dark magic, scarecrows and pumpkin picking at Doddington Hall & Gardens. During October half-term, pay a visit to Doddington Hall for some fantastic autumnal and Halloween themed fun. There are more than 20 different varieties of pumpkin available to buy this year – including white ‘ghost’ pumpkins and pink ones too.
There is also a chance to win a free Christmas tree. A spooky special adventure is also taking place on October 23-26 as ‘Doddington Hall’o’ween’ returns with Dark Magic – an evening of scary fun for all ages that will see visitors unravel the mysteries of an ancient hex.

Meet the unsavoury characters from inside the Victorian Prison this October half term, the vile Victorians will be sure to give you a fright. Hear ghastly ghost stories and tales of witch trials from the Victorian undertakers themselves.
The Festival of the Dead is coming to Lincoln later this year.

Get ready for infusing carnival, circus, theatre and clubbing when the Festival of the Dead arrives in Lincoln. New for 2019 the festival is ‘The Dark Carnival’, featuring a whole new cast of characters and other worldly creations, acrobats, circus performers, carnival processions through the crowd and more set to a high octane soundtrack.
