Seven arrested as police investigate suspected Spalding shooting

Six men and a woman are being questioned

Police have arrested seven people in connection with a suspected shooting in the Spalding area on Friday night.

A 24-year-old man was found by a driver with what’s believed to be a gunshot wound at around 9.20pm on Friday, February 28.

The motorist took him to hospital, where he was said to be in a serious condition.

Lincolnshire Police issued a statement, initially indicating the man had been shot in Boston. They now believe the incident happened in Spalding. 

Six men and a woman have been arrested over the course of the weekend.

All remain in custody and will be questioned by officers.

Investigations continue.

Lincolnshire Police have asked anyone who can assist in the investigation to call them on 101, quoting incident number 436 of February 28.
