A man was found dead at a property in Lincoln

Investigations are continuing after the unexplained death of a man in Lincoln.

A scene guard which was put in place around a property in the city has now been removed.

As previously reported, police were called to a property on St Andrew’s Street near Sincil Bank at 10.59am on Thursday, April 2, where a man in his 30s was found dead.

The house was taped off with police, an ambulance and a forensics team in attendance at the scene.

The death is currently being treated by police as unexplained.

Police confirmed the cordon was removed on Thursday night and no arrests have been made, but no further information will be released at this stage.

A post-mortem will take place in due course.
