Lincoln KFC re-opens for deliveries and drive-thru

KFC is available in Lincoln again!

By Local Democracy Reporter

Lincoln’s KFC store on Nettleham Road has reopened for deliveries and drive-thru orders.

The fast food chicken restaurant closed all its shops in the UK on March 23 amid coronavirus lockdown.

The decision has now been made to re-open some restaurants around the country, with Nettleham Road’s store being given the nod to open its doors again on May 6.

The High Street site remains closed for the time being.

People wasted no time in taking a trip to the recently re-opened store, with large queues developing in peak hours to get to the drive-thru.

The same thing occurred at the Grimsby KFC when that became available to the public again.

The Nettleham Road store will be open until 9pm and operates the drive-thru system for those who aren’t in the delivery radius of UberEats, Deliveroo and JustEat.

Customers in northern areas of Lincoln will be able to get deliveries to their door, while those in the southern regions of the city will need to use the drive -thru.
