The arrival of a heatwave in Lincolnshire this week will be welcome news to many.

Lincoln is expected to reach up to 27 degrees celsius by Wednesday, May 20, heating up just in time for your socially distanced exercise or dog walk.

The weather in Lincolnshire will slowly rise from Monday, May 18, hovering around the 20s across the week.

It will cool down over the weekend with a few showers and cloudy spells on Friday and Saturday.

Humidity levels will remain above 50% for the entire week, so the heat will be a constant.
