A further nine McDonald’s stores have opened for drive-thru across the county.

The fast food chain announced 497 re-openings nationwide for drive-thru service, with seven coming in Lincolnshire and two more in North Lincolnshire.

Restaurant areas will remain closed, but people in Spalding, Boston, Bourne, Skegness, Stamford, Long Sutton and Scunthorpe can order via a drive-thru.

A limited menu and reduced opening times has been brought in, meaning the chain will only be open from 11am-10pm.

There will also be a £25 spending cap per car, with encouragement to use contactless payment.
