House with stunning Cathedral view is the most expensive to rent in Lincoln

Five-bed home in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral is now up for rent

By Local Democracy Reporter

A home within the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral has been put up for rent, and it’s now the most expensive house to let in the city.

Atherstone Place is a five-bedroom house that has been listed at £2,250 per month by estate agents Savills Lincoln — making it the most expensive single-family home available to rent in Lincoln (there are a couple of HMO student lets that cost a bit more).

It is a three-storey property that has toilets on all three floors of the house, four cellar rooms, a snug and a drawing room, as well as an enclosed garden.

The most expensive house to rent in the city before this was Ventnor Lodge at £2,500 per month, but that has since been taken off Zoopla.

Located within the Bailgate area, basically next door to Lincoln Cathedral, Atherstone Place is an unfurnished home with beautiful scenery of the city’s iconic landmark.

Johnny Dudgeon, head of Savills Lincoln, said: “This is a rare chance to have a unique piece of Lincolnshire history on your doorstep, as well as some of the most impressive views of the city that anyone could wish for.”

The house will be marketed through the city office of Savills, and the monthly price is exclusive of all outgoings.
