Despite the lockdown measures easing and allowing restaurants to open on July 4, there aren’t many on Lincoln’s Brayford Pool getting ready to welcome customers back.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on June 23 that from July 4 restaurants can open alongside with pubs, barbers and salons.
While there has been plenty of pubs around Lincoln preparing for a return, the same cannot be said for the restaurants, although there are still some to choose from.
Here are the restaurants on the Brayford Pool that have confirmed returns on July 4.

While the anticipation has naturally surrounded Wetherspoon’s return as a pub, it will also be serving food on Saturday upon reopening.
Elsewhere, Wagamama will introduce a phased return for its walk-in restaurants, with Lincoln’s branch reopening on July 27.
Other popular chains, including Nando’s, Zizzi and ASK Italian will remain shut until further notice.
The Horse & Groom Royal William pubs will not be opening for now, stating that they are busy putting all safety measures in place.
