Just two COVID-19 cases in Lincolnshire on Tuesday

No deaths in 26 days

Two more cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Greater Lincolnshire on Tuesday, and no hospital deaths were reported for the 26th consecutive day.

The latest government figures show one more case in Lincolnshire, and another in North East Lincolnshire.

There have now been 159 cases of COVID-19 in Lincolnshire so far in August.

Four people in the region are still in hospital with coronavirus.

That means that there has now been 2,643 cases of COVID-19 in Lincolnshire in total, and 235 in North East Lincolnshire.

There were no reported cases in North Lincolnshire today, meaning that figure stays at 754.

According to hospital data, there were no new coronavirus-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Tuesday.

This means that there haven’t been any deaths in the region throughout the whole of August.
