A Chinese restaurant on Lincoln High Street has launched a selection 17 bubble teas as it continues to expand its menu.

The Place, which is located near Iceland, was taken over by Chen Liangfeng three years ago and is managed by his partner Ellie Lin.

Ellie is very experienced in bubble tea due to her work back in her home city of Shanghai in China. After discovering bubble tea is very popular in Sheffield and Birmingham, she wanted to add it to the restaurant menu in Lincoln.

Since launching bubble tea on the menu last month, it has proved popular with customers, especially the best seller of the mango grapefruit with sago. The new bubble teas include nine milk teas, five fruit teas, and three iced teas, as well as smooothies and eight different toppings to choose from.

The toppings include tapioca, herbal jelly, sago, lychee coconut jelly, and passion fruit popping balls.
