Over 20 new jobs are to be created by the opening of a new building supplies branch of Turnbull in Horncastle this month.
Turnbull will open at the original J T Frisky premises on West Street in Horncastle on Monday, December 12 – creating over 20 new positions for people in the local area looking for jobs.
The building supplies branch will offer various selections in plumbing and timber products, as well as a kitchen and bathrooms showroom – which opens early next year.

Turnbull already has a significant presence in Lincolnshire, with branches in Lincoln, Boston, Sleaford, Brigg and more across the wider county.

As well as creating 20 new job roles for the local community, existing members of staff will also be supported in progressing their careers further.
Turnbull has also decided to help out the local community further by sponsoring the local Horncastle football team, which is a tradition for branches and the towns they are based.

As people prepare to go out more in the run up to Christmas, a Lincoln woman who created the globally renowned Ask For Angela not-for-profit scheme is proud to have made the county, and the world, a safer place.
The scheme, launched by Hayley Crawford (pictured above) in 2016, aims to ensure that anyone who is feeling vulnerable or unsafe is able to get the support they need. This could be on a night out, a date, meeting friends and other situations, and it is available to everyone of all genders to help them feel safer.
